Who are we?

President's Word

Dear members and partners,

2025 has already gotten off to a strong start for TECALIMAN, with a day and a half held in person for the Observatory of Energy Performance in Animal Nutrition, which met in early April in Nantes for its Forum and annual Energy Day.
As well, on the R&D side, with a new scientific publication presented at the Poultry Research Day, continuing on from those we published in 2025. We can’t talk about R&D without mentioning our pilot hall services and our product characterization services, full descriptions of which can be found in our brand-new SERVICES catalog.

TECALIMAN also continues its commitment to serving the Animal Nutrition industry, with the creation of its own Chatbot powered by its own artificial intelligence, as promised at our previous O’Congrès. We discussed this during the Artificial Intelligence day organized by AFTAA in collaboration with TECALIMAN earlier this year.

The future of TECALIMAN is what we are currently working toward. Our vision for TECALIMAN 2030 holds great promise, and I hope it will bring about an industry that is much more united, with a stronger focus on livestock farming, and on sharing and mutual support among industry players.
To this end, we have already begun working on new membership colleges, new membership fees, and also a new internal regulation, more focused on the direction we are aiming for.

The driving spirit of TECALIMAN is, above all, to meet the needs of OUR members, whether long-standing or new!

Thank you all for trusting us, and for so long now!

More than just a technical center, Tecaliman is a true technology interface!

Tecaliman, a key player in the bulk food industries and a technical interface between scientists, manufacturers, and government bodies in support of trade associations, helps its members master their production processes.

An Association

Tecaliman is a grouping of manufacturers, structured as an association, all sharing the goal of improving the performance of industrial facilities in terms of profitability, product quality, environmental compliance, and operator safety. It is managed by a board of directors and an executive committee made up of industry representatives. A scientific and technical council, along with industry working groups, guides the board of directors on study and research priorities.

The association’s members contribute to Tecaliman’s smooth operation through their annual membership fees and participation in meetings.

These members are divided into 5 colleges:

Tecaliman’s members are present in 10 countries. French compound feed manufacturers produce 100% of France’s tonnage.
