Requirements

  • Comparison of the ratio between an active ingredient and excipients for the choice of excipient ensuring the best mixture stability
  • Comparison of the behaviour of various active products in the same matrix in order to select the most stable during distribution

Service

Pre-test

  • Definition of the test objective
  • Advice for elaboration of test protocols according to the objective (number of tests, use of a reference tracer etc.)
  • Production of necessary products (feed, dry mix, excipient, etc.)

During the test

  • Mixture manufacture (The test can be combined with a homogeneity test)
  • Possible use of a reference tracer enabling evaluation of test repeatability
  • Production of samples representative of the mixture
  • Tests on an 8 m column
  • Extraction of test samples
  • Dispatch of test samples to the laboratory and testing
  • Physical analysis of the matrix used (particle size testing, bulk density, angle of repose) and active ingredients tested where applicable

Post-test

  • Edition of a test report
  • Comparison of results with data acquired by Tecaliman
  • Evaluation of the results with the customer

Pilot pelleting

Requirements

  • Thermal treatment of small batches per agglomeration process on pilot pelleting line for small scale zootechnic tests
  • Study of the effect of various pelleting conditions on heat-sensitive products (yeasts, vitamins, enzymes etc.)
  • Compacting tests for product valorisation

  • Concerted drafting of the test protocol according to the objective (choice of die, pelleting temperatures, sampling, batch passage order, …)
  • Purchase of feed in standard blank formulas

During the test

  • Manufacture of small batches or pellet samples according to the set protocol
  • Monitoring of manufacture using pelleting balanced score cards

Thermisation on pilot mixer cooker
